Here is a great documentary by Gabriel Leigh spotlighting the world of frequent-flying and the lengths people will go in the pursuit of miles and status:

I especially enjoyed the bit about the guy “hiring” local Thais and having them fly four times a day for six weeks, so he could rack up 4,000,000 miles without leaving home in America!
